From idea
to little asset.
1. Choose your starting point
Build with any of the 36 original props, or open your own PNG, JPG or WebP. “Add as a new layer” keeps the previous object; leaving it off replaces the selected layer. You can combine up to 12 layers.
2. Give it your own look
Choose a palette and change its body, accent and detail colors. Match the palette across all template props. Imported images keep their own colors. Move, scale, rotate and flip layers. Click a visible object on the canvas or choose its layer below, then drag it or use the horizontal and vertical controls. A dashed outline identifies your selection. Keep layers on canvas is on by default; turn it off for intentional clipping. Oversized layers are centered when they cannot fit.
Imported images are normalized to a PNG of at most 512 pixels per side, keeping their proportions. Pixelation deliberately reduces detail. Undo is available at the top, below the canvas and beside image cleanup, or with Ctrl/Command + Z outside text fields. It reverses the last edit in the current session; refreshing or reopening a project clears that undo history. Image cleanup works on uploaded, AI-generated and reopened image layers. Remove white background clears white connected to the outer edges while preserving enclosed white details. Use it only on a plain white background. White subject details connected to the background may also be erased; undo if that happens. Rooms and complex scenes need a different approach. The advanced flat-color option erases matching colors everywhere. Both run locally and can be undone; neither is AI segmentation.
3. Export and try it in your game
PNG exports match the selected canvas dimensions, between 64 and 1024 pixels per side. Transparent backgrounds preserve alpha. SVG exports retain vector template artwork and embed imported PNG images. Turning off Keep layers on canvas permits clipping. For older saved projects, selecting a layer brings it back into view when Keep layers on canvas is checked. Center this layer is also available.
The collection sheet exports all 36 original props at 256 × 256 per frame in a 6-column, 6-row arrangement. Its companion JSON lists each frame’s x, y, width and height. Load the PNG as a texture, then use those coordinates in your engine. This is an engine-neutral format; native Unity or Godot project files, collisions and animations are not included or verified.
Save now. Make more later.
Use Save project to update your current local save, or Save a copy to keep a new variation. My projects holds up to eight saves subject to browser storage space. Imported layers are included as reduced PNGs; full original photos are not stored. Download Project for a portable editable JSON file. PNG and SVG are finished exports and do not reopen as editable template layers.
What about AI?
The Art brief tab prepares prompts locally for free. The optional owner-only AI pilot can send a description and a flattened preview of your canvas to OpenRouter and a selected provider, only when you choose Generate after the notice explaining what will be sent. AI begins paused until the owner connects a bounded provider key. Each click requests one draft. We automatically include isolated-asset instructions: no room, scenery, floor, ground shadow or background objects. Providers that advertise transparent output receive that setting; otherwise we request a uniform pure white background. This improves the instructions but does not guarantee the model will follow them. Review the draft before adding a new image layer.
The owner admin panel controls the primary model, up to two backups, verified endpoint prices and task capabilities, per-user allowance, a daily ceiling, and a total pilot ceiling up to $20. AI generation is owner-only in this release. Timeouts do not auto-retry. Failed or uncertain charges stay reserved until verified. Atlas or Codex can read diagnostics and pause AI through the protected Site tools once connected.
Original template assets and local edits need no AI calls. Ordinary editing remains available even when the pilot is paused or its budget is exhausted. Generated images are raster layers, not editable vector parts, and exact style preservation is not guaranteed.
